Suzuki develops electric-couch on wheels, inexpensive EV alternative of sorts

And while Toyota and Ford are busy running around neck to neck in competition, trying to woo the electric-car market with new EVs and hybrids, Suzuki and Volkswagen have set out on a different approach. Teaming up with a bunch of likeminded engineers on a minimal budget for R&D, Suzuki set out on an attempt to chisel out an electric vehicle, with help from Volkswagen, and came up with this, an electric couch on wheels, that you can drive around on! Oh and yes, this one sure as hell is comfortable! Now it might lack a windshield, doors, and well, a body as a whole literally, though it does have place for cargo, with a cupboard stuck behind and makes sure you drive around in sufficient light with a lampshade!

You probably wouldn’t want to be caught dead driving to work on a contraption like this, and we’re pretty sure you’d stick to your shiny Prius. It does seem to be an amusing way to promote EVs though!
