Reynolds Consumer Products is sendinf a message this Earth Day by launching their 100% Recycled Aluminum Wrap. Apparently this was introduced because it is very wasteful to produce virgin aluminum. The new range will be made exclusively out of recycled materials and will be as strong and durable as the traditional foil. And the best thing about this product is that it doesn’t come at a costlier price. It is almost the same price as the older version at $2.99 for 50 sq. ft. box.

Reynolds is also hosting a contest called Go Silver, Live Green by giving away a variety of prizes including eco-friendly kitchen appliances, Grocery Cash certificates, Reynolds Foil from 100% Recycled Aluminum and more. You can enter once every week for a chance to win a variety of green gifts, including a $250 grocery gift certificate on a weekly basis. The contest ends at midnight on May 29, 2009 when a grand prize winner will be selected. Prizes include an energy efficient dishwasher and refrigerator as well as six months of free groceries.
